Kickresume is a new website for creating unique resumes, CVs and cover letters in only a matter of minutes. The website features a very easy to use template builder in which you can select different themes prior to building your resume.

There are two versions for the website. The Free version features basic templates and limited options and categories. Cloud storage is available however with the free version. The paid version unlocks more customization and is $4 a month or $48 billed annually. With this version all the resume templates are available as well as unlimited options and categories. There is also cover letter themes available with the paid version and email support. The resumes are downloadable in PDF.

No sign up is require for the website and after making a selection for the theme you'd like to edit, there is a menu to fill out information for the resume. There is also an option to preview the theme before selecting it. In filling out the information for the resume, there are the usual fields, such as work experience, personal info, education and skills. You can also add addition sections to the resume, shown here:


After filling in the information, there are options to change the font, the color of the resume and
the line spacing. I would say that the process took me less than 30 minutes. The website also features a grammar check for an additional cost. According to the website, the grammar check is performed by human editors. Overall, I think that the website is great for sprucing up a resume and creating a very stand out resume. I must say that many of the themes however feature sections that I would not suggest for all professions. I would suggest to the company to create more minimalist resumes which could be a bit more functional.
