Citrus Lane Review- March 2014

March 20, 2014

Squeak, I'm so excited. Citrus Lane, a subscription box service for moms and babies, toddlers and preschoolers, came today. I've been eying Citrus Lane for a while, at $29 a month, it's a little on the pricey side. The company also offers a 3 month subscription and a 6 month subscription which go for $24 and $21 respectively. I found a promo code to drop the price to $19 a few weeks ago and decided to order the box and at least try it for the month. I saw previous box reviews of this service and liked how the items are curated towards the child's age. In the profile section you can enter your child's birth date and I believe the box I got is more curated for toddlers.

Here's what I recieved in my box:

All Natural Hand Sanitizing Wipes- CleanWell

I was pretty happy to see this product. Recently my daughter and I caught a cold and we've all been trying to be extra clean. This package has 40 wipes wipes and is alcohol free. I like the smell of the wipes, the scent is Orange Vanilla. It's great that these wipes are biodegradable and can be used not just on the hands but on the face, and counter tops.

Push Pull Toy- Hape

I received an email from Citrus Lane about this product. The company was asking in the email to select which push pull toy to include from a selection. I believe this was a selection of five and they also had the option, "surprise me." The product itself is made from sustainable products and is great for developing balance and motor skills. All of the push pull toys they had as part of the selection looked so cute, I chose the giraffe because I saw my daughter playing a lot with the wooden giraffe from the Melissa and Doug Safari Chunky Wooden Puzzle, I got from Pampers Rewards. I gave her the toy and she got really happy when she saw it, she pushed the toy around too a little bit.

You Are My Baby: Farm- Chronicle Books

I was happy to see this item included in the box. I really enjoy reading to my daughter and the book looked like a sweet story. I like how the book is cut out and like a peek-a-BO book, which is fun and engaging. May's story book collection is growing :-)

Medi Buddy- Me4Kidz

Ok, how come I've haven't seen this. This item is great! Accidents happen and we definitely try to keep them to a minimum. This product is a first aid kit with 40 items included. There's kid-friendly bandages, antiseptic wipes, gauze pads and more. The small case makes it great for on the go and it will be a wonderful addition to our other first aid kit. According to the card provided in the box, "each purchase of Me4kids products gives back to the disabled community." Let's share the love.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the Citrus Lane March 2014 box. I feel all the products are very practical for my child's age and there was thought put into them. As much I like the box, I'm debating on keeping the subscription due to price. Maybe I'll try out one more month.
